Improve your French with a method I developed and tested myself
My method is based on three pillars:

Authentic conversation
The first pillar of my teaching method is authentic conversation. Whether you’re learning with me one-to-one or in a group, with every lesson you’ll pick up new expressions and idioms that you’ll come across not only on a trip to France, but also in films, podcasts and contemporary texts. Everyday French is a language in its own right, and knowing it will enable you to understand the French better and better with every passing week!

Immersive experiences
The second pillar is learning the language through immersive experiences: even if you don’t opt for a language stay : I offer you opportunities to make an unforgettable immersive experience. As well as the Brittany experience, I organise a get-together for my learners once a year in France on a voluntary basis. In 2027, we’ll meet in Paris in the evening at a restaurant and visit the Musée d’Orsay the next day. Let’s see where it takes us next year!

Comprehensible input
Comprehensible input is a concept in language acquisition research which states that people only acquire a language naturally when they encounter content that they largely understand, but which is just slightly above their current language level. With this in mind, I’ve written a series of workbooks featuring reading and listening comprehension exercises, complete with answers. This allows you to prepare for the next lesson at your own pace and to fell confident during the lessons.
