Improve your French with a method I developed and tested myself

Authentic conversation
The first pillar of my teaching method is authentic conversation. Whether during our online lessons or our face-to-face classes in Berlin or Brittany, we spend a large part of the lesson conversing. You’ll write down lots of expressions and sentences in a notebook or file to help you understand and practise spoken French. During lessons, we’ll chat about topics that concern or interest you. I’ll give you the tools you need to build your confidence. I’ve put together a series of dialogues so that you can practise using the shadowing method.

Immersive experiences
The second pillar is learning the language through immersive experiences: in Brittany, of course, you’ll be able to explore the countryside and chat with the people around you and hear French spoken in your everyday life. But in Berlin too, I’ll be organising activities outside the classroom, such as attending the Francophone film festival, going on a guided tour of an exhibition in French, or into a crêperie.
Online, our immersive experiences will be fictional but just as surprising and varied.

Comprehensible input
The third pillar of my method is didactic: I have designed a series of workbooks to help you improve your grammar, vocabulary, reading, listening and audiovisual comprehension in a sustainable way, whilst giving you the opportunity to express yourself in writing on topics related to various cultural and social issues. Answers are provided, and you will mainly use these resources between lessons. This will allow you to work at your own pace, practise, explore topics in greater depth and make undeniable progress.
