The cycle route along the Loire is approximately 700 km long, linking Nevers to Saint-Brevin-les-Pins (Loire-Atlantique). I cycled from Orléans to Nantes in 2021, covering 385 kilometres in two weeks, which was perfect for me! Perrine Tripier
I’m talking here about the debut novel by this 27-year-old author, Les guerres précieuses, which explores themes of the past, the passing of time and family. Perrine explained in an interview with Radio France that this book was born out of a sense of sadness when, in 2018, her grandparents sold the family home in the Angers area where they used to gather. She expanded on this feeling to turn it into a work of fiction.
